Project Manager
Project Manager

Manage assigned construction projects to ensure they meet corporate goals for safety, quality, budget, schedule, and profitability while mitigating company risk. Provide direction and leadership to Project Coordinators and Site Superintendents for assigned projects, and promote the values of the company and positive working relationships with all stakeholders necessary to achieve company objectives.

Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings and applicable building codes.
Be the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects.
Oversee the daily progress of project construction to ensure compliance with the schedule, budget and contract.
Develop and maintain construction schedules in coordination with project team to meet milestones and completion dates.
Provide clear direction to team members to ensure project targets are achieved.
Ensure the health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures are followed.
Negotiate and issue subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitor their progress and schedule.
Provide performance status reports for safety, cost forecast and schedule.
Manage all change orders, including negotiating, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impact.
Prepare and/or verify progress payments to clients and trade contractors and monitor approval and payment progress.
Ensure projects are closed out cleanly after project completion.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proven ability to train, mentor and develop junior staff.
Ability to prioritize several complex projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Project
Previous experience with Procore would be an asset.

Preparing and reviewing contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and other parties involved in the project.
